On Tuesday 2006, in King Abdulaziz lecture Hall at King Abdulaziz Historical Centre, both Al-Turath Est. and Saudi Umran Society in Al-Riyadh held a lecture on "Traditional Islamic Building Heritage in Arabia". Dr. Geoffery King a reader in Islamic archaeology, had given this lecture.

A Restoration Project

The High Committee for Al-Riyadh Development has recently signed a contract with Al-Turath for propping up the adobe buildings and palaces in Al-Tarif Archaeological site near Old Diryi’ah. The project will be executed within two months as from December 31, 2005 |
